My life isn't too mind-numbingly boring. I start off a typical school day with waking up at 6:20am and starting the typcial morning routine. Then, I go to school, usually get there late because traffic is insane and people don't allow anyone to get into traffic. After that, a typical school day of going to classes and eating fake cardboard lunches commences. When the school day is done, the other struggle of trying to get out of the student parking lot takes place. After the struggle is done with, I head home, do homework, sleep then repeat the process. But I promise my life isn't boring

If my life was a movie, it would largely be dominated by scenes relating to the sport of running, religion, and family life. One would get to view my race experiences-- from my faces of panic to pushing through the last 100m to reach the finish. Looking at the ground, I would demand myself to not look behind me but in front-- to not focus on how afraid I am that someone will catch me but to believe in myself. That aspect of my life pours into other aspects therof, such as school and helping my peers and family members. The audience would get to view my reactions to both adversity and embracing the blessings of the life I live.. and before the day ends, I'd thank God for them before closing out and hoping for yet another.. for more stories to tell to my sisters about my day.. for more scenes for the movie to be comprised of.

My life is hectic where I don’t get a lot of down time especially in the school year. I’m a part of different activities at school like the theatre program, gymnastics, and choir. This makes it hard to keep up with school work. Sometimes I may not know my schedule, for there is too much stuff I need to remember. In the winter I’m always busy after school except Monday unless I have a gymnastics meet, so I try to stay on top of things, but at the same time I just want to sleep. Most people may find having a busy schedule terrible, but it motivates me more to achieve my goals. Somehow at the end of the year I figure out how to balance my time. It’s the best feeling in the world when summer finally comes around and I know I worked hard for my vacation, by finishing the school year with all A’s and B’s.

My life currently consists of one main focus....getting into a good college. While still maintaing good grades, hanging out with my family and friends, working at Chick Fil A, and watching Netflix. At this point I'm pretty on track having applied to JMU, UVA, and the University of Minnesota, 3/5 of my possible schools. On a smaller scale, a typical school day is waking up early to shower, making it through a day of school, sometimes eating out at Noodles & Co. or Chipotle with my friends, then heading home for homework and tv or my shift at work. I've been enjoying my senior year and all that comes with it, and becoming more and more excited as I move along the process of applying to college.

Currently, my life revolves around school. I always study and complete all of my assignments in order to get good grades. High school is only four years, but it will determine the career you will have the rest of your life. 10 years from now, I want to look back and be proud of the hard work I put in during high school. Another important part of my life is spending time with my family. In addition, I enjoy going to chipotle, hanging out with friends, and watching TV. Everyday I try to find a good balance between school, clubs, family, and friends.

A day in life of me is not every exciting. Currently my life involves little sleep because of my workload. So my typical school day starts with getting dressed and packing my backpack. Next, I attend school for what seems to be nine million hours long. After school I attend play rehearsal for the school: Hairspray. So by the time I get home, all I want to do is eat dinner, taking a shower, and sleep, but homework takes over. On Fridays, I mainly stay in and go to bed early. I know I am lame, but I would be to tired to function. In between my schedule I try to attend football and field hawk games to spend time with my friends. I realize that even though my schedule lacks sleep, I would not change my schedule in a heartbeat.

A day in the life of Shelby is focused around three things: school, college, and field hockey. Luckily, I already finished my college applications so now I am just waiting for my acceptance letters. Good news is that I have been accepted to one school so far, Lynchburg College! Senior year has been so much fun so far, I have really matured and obtained more responsibility. Field hockey takes up majority of my free time, with travel and high school teams. Although I am very busy, I enjoy all the activities I am involved in. One of my favorites being the Hawk Writing Center, I love helping other students progress as writers and watch them blossom with new ideas.

A day in the life of me is insane. To most people this means, busy and complicated; to me it means, i'm constantly having fun. No matter what I am doing I always find a way to make it fun. A day in the life of me, is having fun and making the most out of life no matter what.

My life is pretty eventful. I start off waking up at the crack of dawn to go to the best place every teenager wants to be. School. The whole day in the life of me consists of work, work, and more work. I take three AP classes that are right now preparing me for college. Also I play volleyball and participate in after school events that include honor societies and school sponsored clubs and events. My day ends basically at 10 pm -12 am due to practice and/or games and night-long homework hours. Weekends are literally a blessing and the day in the life of me is one that enjoys a day off.

During the fall, my life revolves around three main things: school, volleyball, and chorale. Everyday, I come to school and try my very best because I know college applications are just around the corner. I am already extremely stressed about college so it is important for me to do well my junior year. After school, I have volleyball practice which is where I get a chance to release all my anger or confusion and leave everything on the court. I am also in Chorale which consists of several performances that I may not know about until the day of. Although I am a very busy person, I also put a lot of effort into my friends and family and try to devote as much time to them as I can to them. Overall. a day in the life of me is busy but full of things I love to do and people I love to be around.

I also try to spend a lot of time doing fun things with friends. For example I got all my school work done early before the weekend because I planned on going to Halloween Haunt with friends. Spending time with my family is another major part of my life. I spend the first and third weekend of every month with my dad and I spend the rest of my free time with my mom and. One of the things I do with my mom is watching the Walking Dead every Sunday. These are a few things I do in my life.

A day in my life is a day in utter insanity. I wake up around 5:45, and from there proceed to wake up my brothers, eat breakfast, shower, brush my teeth and ready myself for eight long hours doing hard work at school. After school, I begin practice; dependent on the season it willl either be football, wrestling or rugby practice. Once practice is over, it's time to eat a meal and do homework for several hours. Normally on the weekends, I have time to hang out with my family or friends. Other than that, my day is filled from wake to sleep. In summation, an average day in my life is rigorous, exhausting, and tough, but ultimately it is satisfying.

A day in the life if me is a busy one. I wake up at 5:45 and the house for school at 6:45. I run through my day at school which is usually fun but sometimes stressful. After school I have practice until 5. My cheer season is ending soon but then I will be moving in to swim practices. When I come home from practice I eat dinner then take a shower. After all of that I finish any homework that I did not finish is school. On the weekends I like to hang out with my friends and family. As you can see a day in the life of me is pretty busy but I have fun.

My life is most definitely hectic. I have a pretty set schedule during the school year. I wake up at 6:30 every morning. I eat breakfast, change, and head out the door to school. After school, I come home and either do homework or take a nap from 2:30-4:30. I then drive 45 miles to soccer practice. I get home from practice at about 9:15 and then I do school work until about 11. I have practice on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday so this is my basic schedule for every day during the week.

My life is very hectic. My day starts at 5:30am, I get dressed, brush my teeth, wash my face, brush my hair, and get my things ready for the day. The reason why I wake up so early is because my mother has to be to work by 7am so I usually get to school around 6:50am. It it very difficult to life in a single mother household but that adversity helps me succeed even more and help push start a desire to work hard. After school, if I do not have field hockey practice, I go to my grandmother's house, while there I work on homework and other assignments that may be long term. I usually get home around 8, I eat dinner and get ready for the next day. That is one of the reasons I really enjoy the HWC because some kids do not have time to revise their papers and get feedback, also some kids may not know if they are on the right track or not and do not have the opportunity to get that help at home. The HWC is a great program that I know will continue to do great things and I am glad to be apart of it.

A day in the life of me is pretty busy. I wake up at 6:00 AM, and then get ready for school. After school I usually go to football practices because I manage, and if I don't go to football I either have to babysit or stay after. Once all that is done I go home and start on my homework , and do that until I am done, or my dinner is ready. After that I continue on my homework if i'm not done yet, and once I am completely done I take a shower. On the weekends i'm usually even busier, because I coach my summer swim team, hang out with friends, and try to catch up on things I missed during the week. Most days/ weeks this is how my schedule goes.
